Neiron Ball hails from Jackson, Georgia. He graduated early from Jackson High School in December 2009 in order to enroll at the University of Florida in January 2010.

As a high school athlete, Neiron Ball was a four-star recruit, ranked in that position by both Scout.com and Rivals.com. Additionally, Scout.com considered Neiron Ball to be the 16th best outside linebacker in U.S. while he earned a number 19 ranking from Rivals.com.

Neiron Ball was named to Georgia class AAA's first-team All-State defensive line in 2009. This was due in large part to his strong junior year record of 104 tackles--35 for loss--19 sacks and seven forced fumbles.
